Chief Akande revealed this to journalists in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital during a visit by the party’s leadership to the palace of Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III to commiserate with him over the fire that gutted a section of his palace.
He said various committees have been set-up to work out modalities for the merger, which would put the opposition in a better stand to contest the elections with the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2015.
